2023 WSK 3YO Enrolment Application Form

IMPORTANT: As part of the Victorian State Government’s Reform, Wilson Street Kindergarten will receive funding for the 2023 3YO program.

In 2023, our 3YO funded program fees will be $660 per term. To enquire about rates for Health Care Card Holders please contact our Enrolment & Fee Manager, Nadia Hobart via email, enrolments@wilsonstreetkinder.com.au

It is important for families to carefully consider the best time to enrol their child in a 3YO program as children are unable to repeat 3YO kindergarten. All children accessing 3YO kindergarten will trasnition to 4YO kindergarten the following year. Only children who meet the criteria for a second year of 4YO kindergarten will be eligible to access an additional year of a funded 4YO program.

If a child’s birthday falls between January and April, the family can decide whether to enrol their child in the year they turn three or the following year. It is important to note that children can only attend our 3YO program once they have turned three and not before.

Children who turn three after the 31st January in the year of attendence will be placed on the waitlist and will be eligible for second round offers if demand exceeds availability.

IN 2023, WSK WILL OFFER TWO 11 HOUR PROGRAMS. Our 2023 timetable is available on our website.

Your child must turn three years old by 30th April 2023 to apply for our 2023 3YO program. Please note, when demand exceeds availability, children who turn three between 1st Feb and 30th April 2023 may not receive a first round offer.

Eligibility and priority of access criteria for a funded 3YO Program

In instances where more eligible children apply for a place at WSK than there are places available, Wilson Street Kindergarten must prioritise children based on the DET criteria below and work with other local kindergarten services and the regional department office to ensure all eligible children have access to a kindergarten place.

Priority of Access Criteria:

Children at risk of abuse or neglect, including children in Out-of-Home Care.
Children known to child protrection.
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children
Asylum seeker and/or refugee children
Children eligible for the Kindergarten Fee Subsidy.
Children with additional needs, defined as children who:

- require additional assistance in order to fully participate in the kindergarten program

- require a combination of services which are individually planned

- have an identified specific disability or developmental delay.

Payment information

A non-refundable administration fee of $30 must be submitted for the application to be processed. The enrolment application fee is to cover administrative costs associated with the processing of each child’s enrolment application and is non-refundable.

In order to successfully submit your application you will need to electronically transfer $30 and then record the receipt number before submitting the form.
